What is STRANGER NO.__?

STRANGER NO.__ is an ongoing portrait series presented as a monthly print subscription. Each edition features a portrait of a person previously unknown to the artist. The series focuses on presence rather than likeness.

Are the portraits real people?

Yes. All portraits are based on photographs of real individuals, submitted by the subjects or selected through the artists own research.

Portraits are interpretive works. Medium, style, and level or resemblance are determined at the artist's discretion.

What does the monthly subscription include?

Contents may evolve slightly over time as the series develops.

When will my print ship?

Subscriptions placed on or before the 23rd of each month will receive that month's edition.

Subscriptions placed after the 23rd of each month will begin with the following month's edition.

All prints are shipped during the last week of each month.

For example, subscriptions placed January 24th will begin with the February edition, which ships late February.

Once shipped, domestic orders typically arrive within 5-10 business days.

International orders typically arrive within 2-4 weeks, depending on destination and customs processing.

Can I pause or cancel my subscription?

Yes. Subscriptions may be paused or cancelled at any time.

Where do you ship?

Shipping is complimentary and available internationally.

Please note that customs duties or import taxes may be applied by your local authority and are the responsibility of the recipient.

How can I submit a photograph to be considered?

Photographs may be submitted for possible inclusion in the series via email at marionstudioart@gmail.com, through social platforms, or through the form submission.

How are subjects selected?

Selection is based on intuition and visual interest. Not all submissions will be used, and there is no set timeline for selection.
